The announcement of the end of the update was posted on Google's Twitter account:
The November 2021 Core Update is now rolling out live. As is typical with these updates, it will typically take about one to two weeks to fully roll out
In previous years we have seen that Google has refrained from making significant changes in November, which is considered the shopping month that affects many websites and businesses. Out of that, the latest update was quick and significant.
Many saw changes in rankings and testified to real “tremors” when in the SEO community there were those who said that their sites went up or down at once and quickly. The update affected not only the ranking but also the timing when again, this is one of the active periods during the year.
A negative impact on the ranking does not necessarily indicate problems on the site
Alongside the sites that rose in the rankings, there were those that were affected and Google noted that the most significant change these sites will see in the next core update. Google currently does not have specific advice for those affected as a result of the update and it has even announced that a negative impact on the rankings does not necessarily indicate a problem with the site pages.
Whenever Google updates its ranking algorithm it can mean an increase or decrease in ranking in search results. Currently, most affected site owners cannot take actions that will change the situation significantly quickly, but they can link the latest update to the site change.
Knowing that Google is performing an update allows you to link the change in ranking to the actions that Google performs. Of course, you should check all the latest Google updates (many of which we have written here on the site) and make sure that the site does indeed meet the requirements of the search engine.
If your site is experiencing any changes between November 17 and today, it's probably because of the November core update. Additional updates coming out over the next year may again affect site rankings.
